Gung Hay Fat Choy!
(may prosperity be with you)

The Ox, or the Buffalo sign symbolizes prosperity
through fortitude and hard work. Those born under
the influence of the Ox or Buffalo are fortunate to be
stable and persevering. The typical Ox is a tolerant
person with strong character. Not many people could
equal the resolution and fearlessness that the Ox
exhibits when deciding to accomplish a task. Ox people
work hard without complaints at work or at home. They
know that they will succeed through hard work and
sustained efforts, and do not believe in get-rich-quick schemes.
Yes, it's Chinese New Year.

Boone The Builder

Boone has been building this shed for
over a week in our backyard. We have
wanted to get all our tools, chemicals,
etc... out of the garage and into a central
safe location. Boone decided it would be
cheaper to build one from scratch than
to buy one that you put together. The
vote is still out on that but it is coming
together rather well. Abigail of course
thinks it's a house for her... I guess we
know what Daddy will be building next ;)

Purple Boxes

We bought these collapsing totes on
clearance at Target to help organize
toys...however Abigail has had other
ideas about how best to use them.

I wonder who is in the box?

Peek-a-boo

I think it must be Abigail.

Roar...

Deeelicious!

Abigail had hot chocolate for the first time a few
weeks ago and thought it was wonderful!

A visit to Grampy and Gramy's house

We drove to see my parents on Saturday
and came home on Tuesday. We had a
belated Christmas lunch and of course
a present or two was opened. We also
went to the aquarium. Abigail loved all
the fish. The weather was great the
whole time we were there, which was
wonderful.

Opening up presents.

Having a seat in the giant blue shell.

Pacific Grove from the car window. Abigail fell
asleep so we didn't stop.

Saying goodbye to Gramy

and Grampy.

Happy New Year!

Uncle Jay explains the news in 2008. Very Funny!
