The First Pediatrician Appointment

Well Wednesday this week was a big day for Miss Abigail. She turned 3 weesk old, her umbilical cord fell off and she had her first Pediatrician appointment. Dr. Gannon says she is very strong and active and that we really don't want to turn our backs on her for anything. She has been turning on to her side for the last week and likes to scoot herself forward when she is mad...Yikes! She has gained 1.5 pounds, not counting the 6 ounces she lost and then gained back after her birth and has grown 1.5 inches. As of Wednesday she was 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20.5 inches long. Yeah we know the size of the average child at birth but we are so happy she is getting bigger. Well that's the update on our girl for now.
