After a brief hiatus we are back.
We went to see my folks for a few
days and returned to a major winter
storm. We lost power for 36 hours
and 45 minutes nothing like Paula's
storm a year ago, but still annoying.
We now have a fresh appreciation
for electricity and all of its benefits.
We are also so thankful for family
and friends who helped out during
our time of need. You know who
you are.

Looks like you guys had a nice trip to your parents. Bummer about the power going out! Funny how much we take things like that for granted! We were lucky enough to not lose power at all, but others in our area did... Go figure! :)
Crazy to lose power! Just makes you think of all the ironing, vacuuming, emailing, coffee-making you could be doing!! Hopefully you had no damage other than that!
Your last post makes me smile... grandparents are the BEST, arent' they!!
