On The Road Again

We have finally returned to Blog Land. We just got back from a 6 day trip up and down the state.

We left New Years Eve day and drove 4 1/2 hours to Gina's parents house. On New Years Day Gina, Boone, Abigail, Mom and Auntie Shelly got up and drove 8 hours to Gina's Aunt and Uncle's house and stayed the night with them. Tuesday morning we drove another 2 hours to see Gina's cousin Mya and her family. This was very special since we hadn't yet met little Grady and Auntie Shelly got to meet her little grandson for the first time. After spending a fun day with them we sent Auntie Shelly off to the airport and we crashed at a wonderful hotel for a good nights sleep. Wednesday morning we drove 15 min. to see Gina's Grandpa and Grandma. Grandpa will be 90 years old tomorrow...Happy Birthday Grandpa. We spent a few hours with them and Abigail got to spend some time with her Great-Grandpa. This was a very special visit for us. Later that day we drove back to Gina's Aunt and Uncle's house and spent a quiet night. Thursday it was back to Gina's parents house and then Friday we finally got home.

Through all of this driving and visiting Abigail was a trooper. She fussed a few times...mostly after being cooped up in her carseat for hours on end. She loved meeting her family and didn't show any of her 'Stanger Fear Behavior' that she has been expressing lately. Thank goodness for that.

Stretching our legs at a rest stop on the way back home.

Playing with the fringe on Great-Grandpa's new lap blanket.

Snuggle time with Gramy.

I sure like my Uncle Kiron.

So this is what my Cousin Grady looks like. He sure is fun to play with.

Deep conversation with Great-Grandpa.

Abigail has a great fascination with cups these days so we gave her one to chew on.

I love this doggie when she kisses my cheeks.

Special friends ~ Noel and Kaye.

Great Auntie Debi and Great Uncle Jim.

I just love the taste of these strings on my Grampy's sweatshirt.

How cute, Grady is as big as Abigail! I'm glad you posted an updated picture, though I haven't looked at their web page, I've been waiting to see pics from beyond the first week! Glad Abigail did well on the road.
